I don't know about you, but when I think about a library wedding, one of the first scenes I think of is from the Sex and the City movie, where Carrie is in her gorgeous Vivienne Westwood gown surrounded by her friends walking through the New York Public Library.
So I thought I'd find some beautiful library venues perfect for a book inspired wedding.
And why not start with the gorgeous
New York Public Library?
I love the look of the
Boston Public Library. One time when I was traveling for business, I got the chance to go to Boston. I walked down the street and there was the library. It just has this wonderful commanding presence, even in the snow.
The Boston Public Library also has a great courtyard area with beautiful archways.
I have a friend who is getting married in a few weeks at the
Richard Nixon Library in Orange County, so I couldn't help but think of this lovely venue.
And gorgeous library wedding venues aren't just in New York, Boston, and California. These next two photos are from the
James J. Hill Library in St. Paul, Minnesota.
Do you have a library venue that you love?
Happy Tuesday!
I've always dreamed of a wedding in a library! So perfect:)
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely gorgeous! The George Peabody Library in Baltimore is also a favorite, and is full of wonderful undergrad memories!
